What are the differences between Direct Connect and Digital Banking?
Direct Connect links your Quicken® and QuickBooks® financial management software (“Software”) directly with your short-bank-name accounts, allowing you to download transaction activity, initiate transfers between accounts, and pay bills using the Software’s bill pay feature.
Direct Connect is offered separately from Digital Banking. However, you must first enroll in Digital Banking to set up, or enroll in Direct Connect we can (i) properly identity you; (ii) capture your Direct Connect selections such as designating the accounts you wish to link to your Software, or select features you wish to use (e.g. Direct Connect with Bill Pay); and (iii) provide you with your Direct Connect Customer ID and temporary password to link your accounts with Quicken® or QuickBooks®.
Enrollment in Digital Banking will not automatically suppress paper statements. For details on how to “Go Paperless,” please see your Digital Banking Services Agreement. To make changes to your Direct Connect service after completing your enrollment, please contact the Customer Care Center. See your Direct Connect Service Agreement for details.
What versions of Direct Connect software can I use with short-bank-name?
All supported versions of Quicken® and Quickbooks® can use DirectConnect. Support for importing transactions typically only goes back 3 years.
What is the short-bank-name routing number and Customer ID that my software requires?
The routing number is affiliate-routing.
Your Customer ID was provided to you at the time of enrollment. If you have forgotten or misplaced this info, please call us at cs-main-phone, cs-pers-db-support-hours.
When is the information in Direct Connect updated?
The information in Direct Connect is updated every morning with activity from the previous day. Transactions can be downloaded Tuesday–Saturday. Direct Connect will only download items posted to accounts and won't show any pending items.
How do I add additional accounts to my Direct Connect?
The first step is to create a new account within your software by entering the correct account number. All checking and money market accounts use 9-digit account numbers and all savings accounts use 10 digits. After completing the required fields, contact Online Banking at cs-pers-db-support-phone to request the linkage of the additional account and access will be provided within 24 hours.
How much does it cost to use Direct Connect?
Consumer: Please see the Schedule of Fees in the Agreement Center.
Business: For fees, contact Online Banking at cs-pers-db-support-phone, cs-pers-db-support-hours.
The monthly fees for Consumer and Business Direct Connect include the optional Bill Pay service, which allows you to make an unlimited number of bill payments at no additional cost. Software for Direct Connect is not provided by short-bank-name and must be purchased prior to using this service.
How do I find out my Direct Connect password if I’ve forgotten it?
Contact Online Banking at cs-pers-db-support-phone, cs-pers-db-support-hours. We can reset your password over the phone.
If I need assistance troubleshooting my Direct Connect software, whom do I contact?
If you experience difficulty related to your short-bank-name accounts, call Online Banking at cs-pers-db-support-phone. For all other technical support, you'll need to contact the program manufacturer.
